A postcard from Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA
Allentown, Pennsylvania. Before this postcard I had only heard of Allentown from a Billy Joel song [take that as you will] – so this postcard comes from the Frank DeFreitas Antiquarian Holographica Collection, in West Allen Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania which is right here.
So this postcard celebrates the 50th anniversary of the invention of the laser, 1960 – 2010 which is actually next year but let’s quibble on such a fact! The postcard has no name on it, so I don’t know who to thank. It also has no tip so I must assume the tip is, “Go visit Frank’s Collection!”.

I made a little video to read the back but the camera seems to be back to front, anyone know how to fix that?
That’s one of the laser anniversary commemorative postcards for 2010. You must have somehow gotten one of the pre release ones.
