re: Postcard from Stoke by Nayland. The image is an embroidered wall hanging. It measures about 6ft x 4ft and represents all the houses in the centre of the village. Each householder was asked to embroider their own house (or a community building) and then a team of dedicated people stitched it all together to make the wall hanging. It took about, from memory, 5 years to create and was to celebrate the year 2000.

I produced the post cards.

Best Regards,

Peter

That's one of the laser anniversary commemorative postcards for 2010. You must have somehow gotten one of the pre release ones.

I fell asleep having dinner in Vegas at the Belagio in the posh restaurant due to jet lack - the embarrassment. Also I ordered some wine at $60 expecting a bottle and yes you guessed it got a glass, didn’t matter because by then I had fallen asleep much to Katy's (now my wife) embarrassment. I kept waking up and laughing saying "why is everyone eating at this time of day". My wife will never let me forget. The shame. Anyway the postcard is not about the Vegas casino. I once went to Bellano too in Italy to see Radiohead - and the postcard does not relate to that either, but I have the first 4 letter right.
